This help request came from Mr. Shaijan Vadakkumthala for his son, Mstr Benjamin. Benjamin is 9 years old. He has a hearing aid on his left ear since the last two and a half years. Now he has been been recommended cochlear implantation for the left ear, as the hearing acuity has deteriorated to profound level. Also the hearing on the right ear has deteriorated to severe from previously normal hearing acuity and has been recommended a hearing aid. The total amount to undergo cochlear implantation is more than eight lakh indian rupees. Shaijan himself is a stroke patient and has no steady job. He does cab driving in Kerala and is a singer at retreat ministries accompanying priests. His wife also has no steady job. The family is requesting our help for their son to undergo this procedure.
